Oakdale Sale October 16th, 2005

Eleven of our best hereford bulls will sell at the Oakdale Bull Sale in Oakdale, CA on Oct. 16, 2005 .

It is a great time to be in the cattle business, markets are higher than ever and the technology to fill the demands of the customer is available. OCC Herefords are breed with solid and progressive performance programs that bring you the strong points that hereford cattle still have to offer.

The OCC breeding and performance program continues to bring big, middle of the road bulls to meet the present and future demands of the beef industry.
The sale bulls were raised without creep on the range as calves and they have been "grown out" at Smith Valley Feeders at Smith, Nevada (shown here). They are on a "high roughage" feed with plenty of exercise.
They have been semen tested and ultrasounded for carcass information.
All of the bulls will have Anaplas shots by sale time.
The OCC cow heard has been tested and is considered a Johne's Disease free heard.
